I finally got the stall for Socks the goat cleaned out. She has a slight discharge, so i figure she will kid quite soon. There were about 8 wagonloads of hay and bedding in that stall. It was a workout getting it all out of there.

I need to put the poultry netting back up post hurricane, but I can hear three hawks shrieking so I might not let the birds out even with the run back in operation.

So VERY proud of my husband. He entered the tape loom in the county fair. We went to pick it up but didn't come home with it. He not only won First Place in the woodworking category but won Best of Show in the entire Crafts category. His tape loom will represent our county at the State Fair!

He's absolutely dumbfounded because he's never won anything before.

He thought he had a fair chance at first place in the woodworking category but never expected to have a chance at Best in Show.

Would have taken me a week

I had been procrastinating, she kidded this morning while i was still asleep. I was with her until 4 am. She had 3 kids, two dead does and a live buck with a single visible testicle. Not a great outcome.
