Helpful hints for building coops

We moved a rose bush and one other bush today. Hubby is going to need to get busy cutting down trees.

I have a couple of small trees to cut down, too.
first I have to mix some oil/gas .
DD Barby sent her chainsaw out here for me to
try to start. It hasn't run for about ten years.
I will probably have to clean the carburetor.
have to look it up on youtube.
cold today. I want to push a brush pile out
into an opening with Ollie. I will burn it after
the ground is covered with snow.
Cappy, how are you going to move that
pear tree ?

We are going to dig a big hole where we want it to go. Then we are going to dig all around it, hopefully saving as much of the rootball as possible. After that, we will move it to it's new home. We have trailers we can move it in, pulled by the Mule.

One of the two trees felled today. Both Tulip trees.

I love the house, just wish it could be larger and have more storage. It was built as a hunting cabin , they didn't even have a hook up for laundry! Plus a lot of the finishing work was not done. We are slowly pecking away at those jobs.

Well, we knew it was coming. It is officially winter.
66F yesterday, 25F this morning.
Yesterday Annie bought McD's cheeseburgers .
I kid you not, the hamburger pattie was thinner than
the slice of cheese.
I think McD's has a new position. It is an artist who
paints a picture of a hamburger pattie onto the bun.
Cappy, with all your chores and hobbies, when do you
find time to trim the cabin ? I know,,,you don't..

I sold this doeling yesterday

. Met the lady in Martinsville, then spent the proceeds on feed, cattle panels, bedding, and hay. Went shopping at Goodwill and Joann Fabrics.
The tree did get dug up, but even though i dug a big hole to plant it in, it was dark by the time i got home.

Today i am too tired to do anything but nap . We had a tornado watch today, and at least 2" of rain. It was feel like temp of 84° today at one point.
Hubby cut down a third tree, this is hard on us old folks, dealing with so much wood. The picture makes it look like a small tree, but it wasn't.

cutting down trees is not easy at any age.
the hardest part for me is standing up straight
after bending down to make the notch cut.
My notches are getting farther away from the ground
than they were in the past.
