Moore County North Carolina is suffering a massive power outage after multiple power substations were shot up last night.

I'm ok, but may not have power until Thursday. Not sure about regular internet access for the next few days.

I didn't want people to worry when they didn't see me.

I went to Danville and picked up the flooring. They put it in my truck with a forklift! Hating being shocked by prices every time i go in a store!

And some things have gone up 100%. I know transport costs have gone up, but i feel like things are just jacked up because people will pay it.

Poor customer service is rampant. I encountered crazy examples of it both at Lowes ( where we spend a lot of money) and Home Depot yesterday. Oh, and Ross.

I quit going to Home Depot . It used to be an OK
store, but they cut the staff and the ones they have
don't have much knowledge . they are just shelf stockers.
they all must take a company course on Rudeness 101.
I believe that prices will not come down until the
gas prices come down first. I also believe we will never
see gas for less than $2.oo/gal. IMHO

I'm on borrowed internet for the evening, getting warm and fed at my SIL's who has a generator.

I was at work today and it was a complete madhouse. We were desperately trying to feed people who were cold, hungry, and stressed out.
