Helpful hints for building coops

I brought home two black and white rocks so far.
Today i worked on the fence for my male goat's new home. Just need to put fencing on the wooden frame.

The gate i made the other day.

Yes, the rocks are fairly stripey.
I bought a curio cabinet today, and it fell over and broke on the second turn i made. I was driving carefully too. Sad about that. It was so pretty!

Cappy, I hope the glass wasn't curved.
six AM. over four inches of snow and still coming down.
I will plow about noon. Annie has to be out of here
by one PM.

The thing is, you want to be sure to use heavy enough staples to withstand predators. The ordinary staples for your average staple gun are fairly light weight. I use either poultry staples that are hammered in or the heavier staples with my pneumatic staple gun and compressor set up.

I use at least a few screws with a washer large enough to pin down the hardware cloth. Then sometimes I use staples between. But I’m in the city; if I dealt with more frequent and larger predators I would probably do all screws.

I used my pneumatic stapler with 1" long 1/4" crown for
tacking hdwe cloth to wood. they worked fine if they
didn't rust away. for more durable use I used the
poultry staples..
we got about 5" of snow. we are kind of snowed
in until the plow man comes.
no matter, no place to go anyway..

I went to the Osteopath today. third time.
he worked me over pretty good. I will hurt for about
a day and then settle down. all in all it is helping.
