I am in the West Kootenays in Robson, just outside of Castlegar B.C.
Welcome to BYC! @Scottyp7
Here's how to add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, and then it's always there!

scotty, I read that the 660 is no longer being made.
it is replaced with the 661
still a powerful saw..
I am too old and worn out to start sawing lumber.
but I enjoy watching other people work.. :old
I have about eighty black walnut trees that some
are big enough to saw. Not worth sending to the
local sawmill, but with a rig like yours I could make
a nice pile of boards..

It is the 661, can't wait to be done with these nightshifts, we work 2 12 hr days then 2 12hr nights (then 4 days off) at the pulp mill, and it is a good schedule but the nights get tougher as you age. I see people advertising renting portable bandsaw mills, with or without the operator, may be worth checking out.

Scotty. doing custom sawing might be OK, you can always
pick and choose your clients. If you don't want the
job , just tell them you are booked up for a year..
I used to custom hatch eggs. once in a while people
would complain that more eggs didn't hatch. when I told
them the eggs weren't fertile, they wouldn't believe me.
I finally gave up. not worth the hassle .
switching shifts must be difficult. my grandson had a
job where he worked straight graveyard shift for six years.
new management wanted him to start working some days.
he quit. now has a job where he works the same shift for
seven days, then has seven days off.. with better pay..
I watched a video that they sawed cedar lap siding.
awesome..
