My gut reaction is it would be too small, unless maybe it's just for them to roost and lay, and nothing else. How many chickens were you going to house in it?

I didn't see any overall dimensions. If they're given in inches, it's too small, IMO.
For me it would be a 3 season broody coop or grow outs. More likely to recommend for someone with no skills or time and 4 chickens.
I have three 8x8 and one 8x24ft hoop coops.

Dimensions:

External Dimensions: Height 46.1", Width: 54.5" (including nest box), Depth: 31.5" (ladder adds an additional 24.4" to depth)

Internal Dimensions: Width: 47.6" (including nest box) Depth: 31.5"

Rule of twos....
Make it twice as big as you think you need, walk in....
Put in twice the amount of ventilation you think you need.
It will cost twice as much as you planned.
It will take twice as long to build as you thought it would.

If this is your first flock build coop first, then get chicks.
Since you built it bigger build in a in coop brooder/chicken jail.
Dirt floor for DLM

Gary
I love these Rules of 2...Especially build it twice as big as you think-Mine was already built when I bought our current property and the chicken house/run is a palace. I'd love it to be twice the size, especially as I can't free range. (Hawk, owl, coyote, fox, raccoon are all in our woods) Right now it seems I am coping with a varmint problem...so the only thing I would say to add to Gary's rules is attach rat wire (the tiny squares wire, also called hardware cloth I think) to the floor and up the insides so those wretched creatures cannot get in. Then dump the dirt/sand on top of the wire. Also sink your run wire down into the ground 6-12".

My current coop build is definitely costing a lot more than I had planned...BUT I am building it to last.

those who know me know that I have no
use for those prefab coops.
most of them won't last a year without
you having to reinforce them.
most of them are way underbuilt for
the cost..
more than likely, someone with little or
no building skills can build a better coop.
compare the cost of burying half inch
wire cloth to mixing up a few bags of premix
concrete and pouring a decent floor.

I have no building skills, but I try hard, am determined. This is my hoop coop build, almost done.
