we have about a quarter inch of ice on everything.
some large branches hanging low.
at least one pine tree snapped off about half way up.
quiet around here. out of three people, I am the only
one awake..
I think I will poke around on youtube for awhile.

I heard a tree fall today , no we didn't cut it down. I was outside working on planting more forage for the goats. It was close to dark, so i didn't ride the Mule around trying to find it in 13 acres of woods.

If you wouldn't have been outside to hear it,
would it have made a sound ?
Probably not too far away..
Today I want to get Ollie into the garage to
fix the bracket. I might have to trim a low
hanging branch to get him around the garage.

Yes, it would make a sound even without people to hear it. Lots of other ears in the forest.

I have a buyer for my dragon. Told her to wait and see how it fires after the glaze goes on it. Quite excited to have interest.

I sold two wire chicken cages today.
I was just messing around and put them on craigslist
a couple of days ago.. Not expecting anyone would
even see the ad. much less come and get any.
some of them are frozen to the trailer. luckily the
better ones were stacked on top..

Lots of snow on the ground here, yet.
very soon the maple syrup guys will be tapping
their trees.
A friend of mine cut down an ash tree a week ago.
he said the sap just about squirted out..
My inbox was screwed up for a few days. I haven't
had any emails to read.. Still don't, maybe nobody
was sending any ?
