Yesterday i got Misty's stall cleaned out. Today i dumped the second load of bedding and dug up a load of river sand to put down under the bedding. I think it will be easier to clean next time.
I am working on building a huge ceramic gnome! He will be king over all other gnomes ( everyone in ceramics seems to be making lots of small gnomes). Making it in sections so it will fit in the kiln. Plus, it is too heavy to carry as is in one piece. I started working on the neck and head tonight.
The 11th is hubby's birthday, and he hates gnomes. He lives a hard life here! :lau

Well tell him happy birthday 🎂

we had a couple of nice rains in the past week.
one filled a 55 gal barrel up about three inches deep.
the next one was a drizzle and a moderate downpour. I had the
barrel under the down spout in the rain gutter. it filled the barrel
half full. I had to dump it because it was in the way where
I am building a platform to set a couple of rain collector barrels.
I put rain gutters on a small section of roof for this purpose.
waiting for downspout to come in at Menard's. out of stock
right now.
