It has rained for a week, we have 6 trees down, and a new widowmaker.

Nothing noteworthy from Helene here. Some rain remnants made it this far north.

My brother lives in Florida, sometimes. But not right now.

A good friend of mine said they have "six figures" in damages, but everyone is ok. I'm sure some of the stuff he lost is irreplaceable, but it's stuff.

Both of my sons and all of my grandchildren live in FL. We used to live there in between living in other states. My parents and favorite aunt lived in FL. But all 3 are deceased now.

So my loved ones are all safe. No major damage. Hope the power comes back on soon for them!
