Hello, I'm back with another question on a very different track than I was originally on. First off, I found a pallet supplier, so I can build a coop with pallets. Second, I was wondering if any of you had any experience with T-post runs. I like the idea of a covered T-post run but I am having difficulty figuring out how to prevent the roof from sagging, and how to build a secure door. Any ideas?

Yes, build a hoop coop with cattle panels. There is a section on that in this thread!

You can often get free pallets if you ask around lumber supply stores.

If you are going to use pallet lumber,
prepare all of the pieces so that they are all the same length,. then when you frame up the studs, adjust them to fit the lengths of your boards,.
that is, if all of your boards are 4o inches long, make the stud spacing 2o inches apart, .
to save labor., don't bother pulling all of the nails
saw each end of the board off just short of the nails. then all you need to do is remove the nails from the center of the board,.
a chain saw works great for this, but a circular saw works, too.
