Helping the Swedish Flower Hen

Well I'm not sure, this is my 1st time w/ them
I would call their fluff colors to be Black, Grey & Yellow , so what does that mean for their mature colors??

(most of them are Black & yellow, that one in front w/ the slight crest is the only mainly grey fluff one)

where did you get your eggs IM AFTER A BLACK ONE!!! Let me know Thanks Justin

I had 14 eggs, & a temp spike on day 16 apparently killed half
so these 7 survivied

Does make me wonder if the ones that couldn't take the spike would have been diff colors (?)

But the 14 eggs from her had 100% fertility, they ALL developed to day 16 & were going strong when I candled them that night,
temp spike was overnight after that. So her eggs are great, my LG skills are a work in progress...

wow i have been so busy....had to get stitches last week I accidently cut myself with a box cutter

and been helping my 4h group get their stuff ready for fair! Its almost here I can wait to get these babies to show!!!!! After all that is one point for this page but the sole purpose is to help the breed become more popular and help insure the survival of this breed.....So how many of you guys have had a chance to get picture for bulldogma and I to get a basic body shape (shes already got it) and colors, we need pictures from everyone possible so we can get a HUGE list of all the colors that are know at this point.....Thanks yall, Justin

My five week old chicks are feathering out so handsome! I can't wait to see what beautiful colors they turn out to be.

Holy Cow, it's been busy here. I haven't been able to get pics yet. With spring break, Easter, & 3 year old bday party we've been pretty busy! will try to get that done ASAP!

i am always amazed at my hatchlings. it never seems to matter what colors you breed. you usually get something totally unexpected. i am so glad in my rare chick aassortment from gff i got two chicks from the newest line. they are doing great and i can't wait to breed them with my base stock of sfh. the new line lays extra large eggs also which is incredible !

I am a flop at computer stuff but I am just starting out and have no adults and 8 chicks. . .I will do whatever I can to help out. I want to learn everything I can about this breed.

Thank You! You sure have been busy....me too! Stitches 2 weeks ago, grandparents visiting, getting a job at an orchdi greenhouse and being sick for 2 days this past weekend
