Hen can't walk

Thank you so much for your help! She puts weight on both legs and wings. Her toes are ok. She is trying to get around but just falls on her side. I will give her vitamin B tomorrow and take some pictures. Thanks again and I will give you updates also.

Chicken slings or chairs can be helpful to use for several hours at a time to get them upright and in front of food and water. Google chicken slings for many helpful pictures. Let them sleep on the floor at night and take them out often to stretch and mosve the legs.

It was over two or three days. She hasn't laid yet. I have been giving her mealworms and scrambled eggs. It's very frustrating to see her this way. She tries to stand but just falls to her side.
Questions:
Does the joint bend and flex appropriately? Yes

Was there any illness or injury? Not that I can see

was she able to walk normally after hatch? Yes no problems

Are her legs Splayed, deformed or afflicted by any abnormality? Not at all

I hope someone can help you better then I, and keep up the good work keeping her healthy and warm!

Thank you for this information!!! I noticed yesterday that she was trying to put more weight on that side but still not great. Her toes are not curled. She is getting pretty good at hopping on the other leg while flapping her wings. She wants to be out with her friends and even tries to scratch around. I've increased her vitamins and calcium. I bring her inside to eat and she sits on the floor with our two big golden retrievers I'll get some liver and hamburger for her too. I appreciate all of the great info!!!!

Today she looks a little better. About an hour ago I started the vitamin B and gave her some watermelon. Another chicken friend said her chicken did the same thing. She gave her bird more vitamins and she got better over a few weeks . Thank you all for your help!
