Hey y'all.
My 2-3 year old hen, who I believe is an ISA Brown, has been having some health issues as of late. She started losing weight within the past few months, but it wasn't very much so I didn't think a lot of it. I noticed however that she has recently become very light and she seems noticeably weaker and less energetic. She still eats and forages relatively often, so I treated her for worms as I figured that's why she was losing weight despite eating. Gave her a few doses of Safeguard fenbendazole cream (for horses) over a few days and I haven't yet given her the second dosage that comes later.
Today I noticed she seemed more lethargic, and her crop was very full and watery. Also worth noting; I was getting lumpy, corrugated looking eggs for a while recently. And while I'm not certain, it's possible that those eggs were coming from her.
Is there anything else I can do for her? I realize the deworming process probably won't relieve her immediately, but perhaps a more knowledgeable user might have other ideas as to what might be affecting her? Maybe it's something else entirely?
Thanks in advance.
