Hen eating but losing weight, getting weaker, now also has a watery crop

Hey y'all.

My 2-3 year old hen, who I believe is an ISA Brown, has been having some health issues as of late. She started losing weight within the past few months, but it wasn't very much so I didn't think a lot of it. I noticed however that she has recently become very light and she seems noticeably weaker and less energetic. She still eats and forages relatively often, so I treated her for worms as I figured that's why she was losing weight despite eating. Gave her a few doses of Safeguard fenbendazole cream (for horses) over a few days and I haven't yet given her the second dosage that comes later.

Today I noticed she seemed more lethargic, and her crop was very full and watery. Also worth noting; I was getting lumpy, corrugated looking eggs for a while recently. And while I'm not certain, it's possible that those eggs were coming from her.

Is there anything else I can do for her? I realize the deworming process probably won't relieve her immediately, but perhaps a more knowledgeable user might have other ideas as to what might be affecting her? Maybe it's something else entirely?

Thanks in advance.

She looks to have a distended large crop. Check it first thing in the morning to see if it has emptied. If it is still puffy/squishy, she may have a sour or pendulous crop. Are you giving her fenbendazole 10% 1/4 ml per pound of weight or 1.25 ml for a 5 pound hen? That is given for 5 straight days. You may want to give her some chilled coconut oil 1-2 tsp cut into small pieces. Monistat cream or suppositories may also be used for a sour or pendulous crop. Crop bras in a proper condition are used for pendulous crop. Here is a good article on crop problems:

Luckily the crop seems to have emptied on its own, but I will still keep an eye on it in case it needs treated again. As for the fenbendazole, I gave her the paste - approximately a pea sized amount - for four days straight. With her most recent dosage being about 3 days ago.

Will the four days of fenbendazole be enough, or should I give her one more dose?
