Thank you and I wont..I was really just stunned and couldn't believe what was going on in front of me..she was like a completely different bird..and I literally blinked and it was over

Bummer.

Took me a couple weeks of finding wet spots to catch one eating an egg, when I did she was in the process of taking shell from nest and ran out into the run with it.
I chased her down and got the shell. Which told me it was a thin shelled egg.....but I still don't know who is laying them.
Am actually going to isolate a group 4 birds tonite, one of which I'm pretty sure is the funky egg layer, and might be the bird I caught eating the egg.

The eating of an easily broken thin shelled egg is not an egg eating problem IMO...but the thin shelled egg is a problem, can't sell em and they make a mess.
If only one bird has funky eggs, then diet is not the problem, but the funky layer may have a nutrition uptake problem, something that generally can't be fixed.

Am just babbling here...sorry, I have no real answers for you as of now.
