Hen favoring foot + other issues

Thank you again for all the info! Hopefully @Akston gets back to you soon on the possible cut (I still can’t see how you spotted that in the first pics!) and especially the cloud like mucous and coordination issues, and this cute little hen gets well soon. Best wishes, and I will keep following along!

Just to say it again, thank yall so much for this information. I've only had my girls (and roo) for about 2 years. And it was sudden. Not something I planned for, but I went with it and tried to make the best of it. I've greatly enjoyed them, and don't regret a thing. But I know there is so much I don't know. So much that I don't even know what I don't know. I am constantly reading things to find out more information just about anything in general.

I am following the directions for the crop checking tonight, as well as checking her for mites, etc in a few hours. I gave her her own private suite to sleep in tonight. Not sure she really appreciates it. She is rather motherly to a few new girls I got, and is used to snuggling up with em.

Nothing looked abnormal to me inside her mouth. I compared her to my other girls, because I will be honest. I don't know what the inside of a normal chicken mouth is supposed to look like. After a few comparisons I feel as confident as I can that nothing looked abnormal.

As far as wormed/tested for worms. I am fairly sure they were not.

I did not feel anything that felt like bloating or swelling in her abdomen area.

I know this is not a lot of information to update, just wanted to let ya know I greatly appreciate all the help!

-- I sometimes see a cloudlike mucuslike substance coming from her beak/nose area.
-- I noticed her coordination seems to be a little off. When I was giving her a small piece of a baby aspirin, I wrapped it in bread. It took her a few tries to get the bread piece, as she kept coming up short on her pecking attempt by a good 1-2 inches.

she is currently my rooster's favorite. For example, she often stays in the roost long hours to avoid him, as he doesnt bother anyone that is inside.

He never mistreats her (or any hen). He is quite protective, and I never see any negative/mean actions from him to any other. He just..fancies her the most
Can you post some photos of her eyes and face?
She's a crested bird from what I can tell - is her vision limited by feathers around her face/eyes?
The cloudlike mucous coming from beak/nose - is she sneezing, coughing or wheezing? Are her nostrils clear of debris?

The coordination problem is concerning - but your description makes me think she can't see well - again-any feathers need trimming around the eyes?

You also mention she stays long hours on the roost to avoid the rooster.
In-coordination, stumbling, etc. can be due to malnutrition and dehydration. If she is staying on the roost for hours, then she is not eating/drinking well.

Pen the rooster separately for several hours a day so this girl can get some peace or if he's only bothering her, pen her separately with her own food/water - see if she improves. If she is being chased all over the place she may have sprained/injured the legs. An overmated hen's condition can deteriorate quickly. Give her some poultry vitamins for a couple of days and her normal feed. A treat of egg would be nice too.

Her nails need to be trimmed. It won't hurt to slather some oil or vaseline on her legs. The bottom of the feet do look a little red/breaking down, but that could be due to roosting all the time.
