Im having a similar problem also with a red sex link, happened to my ameraucana too but she did not make it. Thankfully the vet gave us some antibiotics for the ameraucana that we were not able to use. Im thinking there might be a lack of calcium in my case. After the tail end of the molt too so she needs everything she can get. Good luck
