Hello, I woke up this morning and noticed that my hen has developed blisters overnight. They only seem to be on her comb. They’re small and yellowish but look grey from a distance. Does anyone know what these are?
This is the second time she’s had them except it seems worse this time. Last time it cleared up after a week. I didn’t know what they were then either.
Information:
• She’s at least 6 years old and isn’t laying anymore.
• She’s behaving normally.
• She’s been eating layers pellets, eggs, corn, fruit, and sunflower seeds.
• Her poop is normal.
• Her bedding is newspaper layered with straw and her coop is ventilated.
