Hen helping with hatching

Hi, iv

Ive had 2 today that are chirping but their shells are cracked and distorted. One was pushed out of the nest. I opened and the chick was blue. I just noticed the 2nd egg that looked the same as the one that died. It’s still chirping but again the outside is getting a little harder. Should I try the incubator with this one? I had two others hatch fine, egg split in 2 clean pieces. Thanks for your help

I read a few other posts and put coconut oil on the membrane areas that had no shell. The next morning I checked the egg and found the chick still chirping and all of the blood appeared to have dried. I very slowly chipped the rest of the shell off, the membrane was dry and a little tough. A very happy chick stood up in my hands. I’m not certain it would have opened it on its own. Maybe and maybe not; either way he/she is doing well. Thanks for asking. These were shipped to me, perhaps it was a later laid egg? Two hatched perfectly, shell was in 2 pieces and 2 cracked in a lot of places.
