I am building a chicken coop for 10 Rhode Island Reds. And I am concerened bout our Tennessee winters. Should i put up insulation to keep them warm.
 
You certainly do not need to in Tennessee. OTOH you would not regret it either, as it will make you and the hens comfier in the winter, and make winter coop management a bit easier. So it just comes down to whether you feel like it (in terms of labor, and in terms of the availability of materials).

Just make sure the coop is draft-free but well ventilated (see page in my .sig below if this is confusing) and you're good to go, with *or without* insulation
