Hen hunched over and looking sick! Please help!

She is talking quite a bit this morning and her comb is red again. She is drinking a lot and eating. I forgot to take a picture of her poop so I will take one as soon as she poops again. Should I keep her inside today?

Glad to hear she is better. Get a kitchen or postal scale, weigh her, and keep her inside until she starts putting on weight.

How is your hen? I just came in from my yard, where I found one of my hens with very similar symptoms. Of course, by first thought was to consult BYC for some idea as to how to proceed and found this thread.
 
Great news! Make sure she gets enough to drink and eat today and then I would get her back out to the flock as soon as possible so mixing her back in is not a problem. If they are gone too long, there will a lot of aggression.

It sounds like she may have been being bullied away from food and water. So you will want to add more food and watering stations so she can get sustenance. The bullies can't guard every feeder or waterer. If you can figure out who is the bully, you may need to separate them out for a while, or even use pinless peepers on them.

Make SURE you have at least 5 square feet per bird in the coop, (all floor space) and at least 10 square foot per bird in the run. Any less and there is going to be a lot of aggression going on. And give them things to do...mirrors, ladders, places to hop up on, hanging cabbages and veggies or fruits, containers with food they have to play around to get the food out, things like this to keep them busy. Throw them a flake of grass hay or alfalfa on occasion. Good for them and gives them things to do and burns off calories they would other wise use on each other.

My hen is doing so much better thanks to these wonderful people. I would ask two crows and castportpony about your hen. I am leaving my house and cannot keep my hen inside so I put her back into the coop and will bring her back in when I get home in an hour. They helped me so much, I'm sure they could help you! You could also go back and look at everything they told me to do for my hen.
 
I have been following this thread as well. My favorite lady was acting the same way. We did the warm bath, fed her yogurt and oatmeal and kept her in last night. She seemed more perked this morning although not 100%. I did put her out with the others and filled the waterer with electrolytes and gave her some nutri-drench. She is eating a bit and is a little less listless. She has not laid an egg in 4 days and just started losing feathers. (It is cold her in CO but the others are still laying) I hope your girl is doing well chickengirl234
