Hen is docile, comb droopy and squishy crop, UPDATE: Not doing well!

I would keep offering the mixture, obviously...but maybe also try some electolytes to help her regain strength, like sav a chick. I am sure you are frustrated, it's so hard to tell what's wrong with them when you KNOW something is wrong!

Today, she perked up a bit... She still refuses the mixture even though we offer it. Would Gatorade work as a quick electrolyte? Like mixing it with water?

could she be molting? my hen was acting similar a few weeks back and she had worms. not sure if that was her problem but she made a full recovery. hope your hen does the same.

All of them are molting right now, but everyone else is normal... Glad to hear about your hen!

I've given diluted Gatorade to sick raptors in the past with good results, but for my hen since Tuesday, I've had some vitamins that I've just dissolved and diluted in her drinking water. Have you tried the olive oil and massage treatment for crop impaction yet? I still don't know if that's what was going on with mine or if it was egg production. I've read that olive oil was good for both and calcium for the oviducts, and I think that the olive oil has really been key.
Friday she didn't want to eat even though her crop had reduced. I decided to go with a mash recipe that brought back my little dove, which is this: hard boiled egg (for the dove just the yolks, but for the hen I mashed the whites in too), corn meal, and whole milk. Make it kind of pasty/crumbly. I think before I used oatmeal too but don't have any on hand. Right now I'm just concerned to get some weight back on her and start seeing some solids move through again. Saturday she was brighter, walking, and moving some solids out. Today is even better, but the comb is still droopy and the solids are still too green for me to put her back out yet. Maybe by tomorrow.

Are these clear, runny droppings that you're referring to green, by any chance? And is that a messy vent I see in her picture? If so, it is likely she has worms.

As far as an immediate treatment to administer before you have antibiotic on hand, try feeding her some Garlic if she'll take it. If she doesn't take it aby itself, hide it in Pellet mash (wet pellets). You could also try adding Garlic concentrate to her drinking water, which can be made by crushing some cloves in cold water, letting it stand overnight, straining it, and mixing it in. A little garlic won't affect the rest of your flock if you haven't quarantined her yet, so don't worry. You may notice your eggs will taste a little funny for a while after this treatment.

A good antibiotic to try would be Flubenvet.
