She was just being normal and she looked fine and than just decided to lay down.

She perches alone on the branch in the run a lot. She’s acting fine otherwise and she’s eating and drinking. She’s near the top of the pecking order. I checked her behind and she’s fine back there.
 
As a knee jerk reaction, she might just be resting or prepping for a dust bath.

If observed long enough, she will likely attract others to join her, which will turn into a resting pile or a thrashing pile of dust bathing chickens. Not gonna lie, the dust bathing is a bit offputting the first time you see it.

Usually mine start digging and than throw themselves in the hole they made. 😂This was new to me so thank you.
