She hatched 4 already then this egg hatched this am and she has 4 more to go... well 4/5 hours later I find her and the other chicks EATING it alive while it screamed. They ate out the eyes, ears, and hollowed out her abdomen from the vent... I ended up having to kill it cause it was still cheeping...
Should I pull her other eggs? What would cause her to single one out? Is she not wanting anymore babies yet still turning the eggs....? Will she end up killing the others? Should I pull them and put them in the brooder to be safe...

If these are different chicks you need to remove all chicks now and put them in a secure/safe area.

Other chick also is recovering, appears to be just from hatching. Like was ripped from egg due to movement between hen and chicks

Momma and her chicks today, I guess that one may have had something wrong with it ?

Oh gosh the poor thing!!! I would take the chicks/eggs away from her. I can't believe it was still alive 😢 it must have been in so much pain. Glad you put it down before it had anymore suffering

Remove the other eggs. She is done hatching if she's left the nest with her babies. If the chicks are still alive in the eggs it'd be best to hatch them out in an incubator and brood them yourself. Some hens will continue to accept chicks, others will not. I'm sorry this happened.
