That's a treasure trove of eggs!

How many chickens do you plan to worm? Of course, it's always safe and a good idea to do a worming. Wormers are not usually hard on chickens as it just sedates the worms so they stop doing their thing and get absorbed as extra protein in the intestines.

If you have just a handful to worm, I like Safeguard. If you have a lot, I like Ivermectin pour-on.

I have 6 hens but just 5 laying. Does Tractor Supply carry Safeguard and it has instructions? I plan to go there on Tuesday! Can you eat the eggs while deworming?
