Hen losing feathers on belly

Is there a reason for this? What is wrong? I don't see her losing feathers anywhere else...

Is she holed up in a nest all the time? Can you get a picture?

Is she broody if so hens pluck their feathers and line the nest to exspose their moist torso skin on the eggs...

I haven't noticed her being broody much. But that is interesting... I will try to get a picture.

My EE did the same thing, plucked out all her chest feathers....broody!! Either put her in a box such as a rabbit box that has screen/wire for the floor, keep her up off the ground...NO BEDDING... just food and water until she's over being broody. It took one hen 4 days...be patient. Otherwise you can get a clutch of fertilized eggs and let her hatch them.

I have 3 chickens
One of them hasn't been laying eggs regularly .... A lot of mis shaped - soft shelled -funky eggs, one was actually a perfect robin sized ( I kept it ) cute
She is loosing feathers on her underside ???? Her feather color seems be lightening ??
Not quite 1 year old ,fed organic feed ,meal worms dried ,no hull sunflower seeds they free range also , looks healthy overall .i do have oyster shells avail free feed /the coop is bone dry , plenty of ventilation
Never had chickens before ,any help appreciated
