Hen may have layed internally, can anything be done?

I have a 2 and a half year old hen who was fine last night but when I came to check on her this morning she wouldn’t really stand and only really wanted to lay down. I gave her some calcium and provided wet food and water but I unfortunately had to go to work.
When I came home she was still alive and responsive but she just layed a very pale yellow popp with yellow bits in it that looked like yolk.
I have fed her food and water but can anything be done?
She is a breed that layes a LOT of eggs and has been laying for almost 2 years straight and only recently started laying very tiny eggs

But I need help, can I save her or is it best to euthanize her? I don’t have a vet near me unfortunately

It's not possible to know if this hen is suffering from internal laying or a reproductive infection (EYP). A vet can Xray the hen to determine if she's laying internally, but unless the vet is skilled in chicken surgery, there isn't any treatment.

You can try an antibiotic on the chance this is early stage EYP. I had success treating a hen if a similar age recently. Do you have any antibiotics on hand?

Sorry for your loss. If you are up to it a home necropsy could be performed to briefly look ate the abdominal organs and look for any yellow fluid in the abdomen. This could give you some answers if you post results and pictures here.

I believe this may be happening with my girl Ruthie. What antibiotic could help if it is early stages?
