No, not a bad idea, I just think they get more calcium from the pills.

Sorry for that... I have a bunch of Marek's positive chickens right now, and it is very depressing to me, too.

Well She's up and walking! Not to well, but walking. I picked up some multi vitamin stuff and wonder if I should have gotten just the calcuim grit or maybe both. The multi vitamin has some calcuim.

Well I had to seprate her from the flock, they were attacking her. I'm guessing that she's in worse shape than I thought. They left her alone until she started gimping around. I have her in a small kennel with some feed and water, but it doesn't give her much room to move around. That's all I have so it will have to do. Still giving her supplements hopefully she will recover, fully and then some, introducing her back to the flock will be interesting.
