Is this little bugger a drake Saxony or a hen Saxony. It is about a month old.

The first sign of gender is going to be its voice. It might be old enough that it's starting to get its adult voice. A female will have a loud, braying quack. A male will have a soft, quiet, raspy quack.

I agree, you'll be able to tell by their voice. And also, most drakes have a curled tailfeather. But just by looking, it kind of looks like a hen to me. :)

If you can't tell a difference in the voice, then it's too young to tell the gender. The quacking will be the first difference between genders that you can notice. I'm sorry if you don't find that helpful but that's how it works.

Later, a male will develop a curly tail feather and females will not have one, but the difference in voice will come before that.
