Well that gives a lot of perspective. At this point I’d send those pics to your Hatchery and ask them if they have Jersey Giants. It looks like it has a pea comb though so it could still be a EE.

I think you’re right.. intuitively he seems different. I’m going to call the hatchery to see what other breeds they have just in case. Thank you for your help!

The black chick looks like a cockerel, and likely an EE. It is not a BJG, they have a single comb and your chick looks to have a pea comb. I can't tell on your other chicks because of the red light.

I agree, cockerel. Usually EEs have green legs, which he doesn't have. Talk to the hatchery, look at their website for chicken breeds available, and then scan to chick pictures too.

Can't be an ameraucana… they have slate legs with pink foot bottoms, besides the muffs and beard.
