Hen or roo and what breed!

First up is the speckled Sussex (13 weeks) hen or roo. Then I am not sure what the next breed is. Also 13 weeks, Yellow feet, 4 toes, not much of a visible comb. Also I purchased those three girls at the same time and I am worried by their different size and coloring. Can the big one with irredescent feathering be a roo too? Thanks everybody. I am learning.

I just looked up the orloff and I agree! You don’t think the big one is a roo though? It looks like they don’t have combs

Second one looks like a roo to me, for sure! Look at the saddle feathers. They are pointed and curving.. The hens by him in the picture have rounded feathers in the same place.

Agree. Speckled Sussex cockerel in picture 1 but picture 2 is also a cockerel. So picture 3 has two pullets and a cockerel, Russian Orloffs.

Yep. I totally see it all now. Helps knowing the breed as well. Well shucks.

Orloffs are pretty rare. I would keep him, if possible. If not, someone would probably want him. The Sussex too.
