Hen or roo, this one has me stumped.

I have 4 chicks we hatched this year, and one has me completely stumped. We've been able to sex 3 of the 4 with the obvious telltale rooster/hen signs... But this one is tall and lanky like a roo, with pretty thick legs, developed a red comb and wattles really early... But is not sprouting his/her saddle or neck feathers like his brothers and sisters. He/she is about 18 weeks old.

I think it's a roo, but I'm not 100% sure. Thoughts? (it's the white barnyard mix with feathered legs in the pictures)

About a week ago or so.

What's got me wondering is the rounded, straight tail feathers. Also, when it fluffs up, it's missing the rooster neck feathers (the ones they get when sparring or shaking off).

It's not missing them. My girls have those when they spar.
