Hen or Roo??

We have two chickens. They are about 6-7 weeks old now. I'm worried our sweet speckled sussex Maple, is a rooster. I can't have one in city limits, so I am getting kind of sad. Because Maple is so sweet and my girls love her,(or him) as do I. Izzy I am positive is a hen....maybe you all can help? TIA

Here is Miss Izzy. I'm not sure what breed she is though, I was thinking leghorn because she substantially heavier than Marvin. What do you all think?

We just went through this exact thing with a speckled sussex. He was one of four chicks we bought from a local farm, so luckily they let us return him. He started getting a big bright comb around 5 weeks, and it was awful because he was the sweetest chick. I spent weeks trying to convince myself he was a girl! Anyway, it was a huge eye opener when we returned him to the big batch of SS chicks from whence he came....the others were so obviously girls and he was so obviously not. I think yours is definitely male.
