So this sparked a huge debate on the Chickens Chickens chickens fb page. Questio #1 This morning while cooking breakfast i cracked open my first eggs from my flock. Well 2 eggs in I suspect a roo in my coop. My big birds are 20 weeks my babies are 10 weeks
#2 Is we were told they were RIRs I've been told by other they are productions.
#3 Is this a "late bloomer" roo
#4 If not can one of my babies procreate.

Looks like a girl to me but those feathers are odd.

Those eggs do look fertile.
All your adult chickens are female though. Are your younger ones separated from the big ones? I would need to see comb pics on all of those to tell the gender.
