I have pictures of my Ameraucanas that have turned out to be EE's. (I've recently found out from reading from the forum) Now I think one is a roo. These two are inseparable. We call them "the sisters." We got them at the same time. They are 14 weeks old but one has bigger legs and brighter comb and now a tail feather starting to curve. Please say she isn't a he. I wish I lived in the country. Then it wouldn't matter.

It does look like a roo to me...

However, I can't really tell the feathers apart from your other bird. You'll need a second opinion...

I would say roo and hes a stunning beauty. the one in the front looks my pullets we bought at a feed store sold to us as amerucanas either way to me i think they are the most entertaining and gorgeous ones we have in our flock of a very small 13 lol

Thank you all so much. I am so very sad. I have been checking and it looks like we have a place here in Southern Utah called the Safe Haven that will take him( I will call them tomorrow) but I will also have to give up one of my hens with him. Then I will only have one hen. I have grown so attached to them. I'm still so new at this. I guess I will be starting over. I wish I wasn't in a neighborhood. Thanks again.

Why do you have to give up the hen? I live in Northern Utah and have a post going trying to figure out if I have a cockerel doing some mystery crowing in the morning. Is the Safe Haven specifically for chickens/farm animals or is it an animal shelter of some type?

It is just for poultry. I don't know if I can post the web page but I would be happy to give it to you and you can read about them. Just email me and I will send it to you.
