Is this a hen or roo.
It is a Buff Orpington.
She is about 4 months old.
I got this one from a guy that had a lot of chickens in a pen that was
too small, consequently they were picking feathers, and killing each other.
The one in the picture is missing a lot of feathers and underfeathers. Maybe that is why
it is confusing. It has not crowed, it is very timid and sounds like the rest of my hens when
it clucks. She also looks different then the other ones the guy had that you could tell were roosters.
I have it in a seperate pen by herself until she settles in and has a chance to regrow some of
her feathers and maybe then it will be easier to tell. I will post new pics in a few weeks if I still can't tell.
