Hello all

These are some black sex links. When I bought these PULLETS none of them had white dots on there head. I am not sure about the one with the red comb the others have no red combs and look diffrent. They are about 5 months now.

In the last picture, the two in the back look they they could be black sex link pullets.

The one in the front, however, appears to be a cockerel - and he's not a black sex link either, since he'd have to be barred to be one.

The is odd... I bought all 3 from tractor supply as black sex links as chicks they all looked the same ... Until they got older. I am new to chickens..

TSC employees are good folks, but they're not really trained about their little charges. Most likely, a stray chick got "put back" into the wrong bin by mistake and ended up with the sex-links - and nobody noticed. Surprise!

The one in the front looks like a cockerel. If you bought them at TSC he shouldn't be a mix, but that's what he looks like. Coloring makes me wonder if he's not a 2nd generation sex link, which doesn't produce more sex links.
