Hen or Rooster

16 weeks old. No crowing yet. Not sure if this is a hen or rooster. I think it is a hen but not 100% certain.

That's a pullet. She won't be a hen until she's a year old, likewise a cockerel isn't a rooster until a year old.

Awesome! Thanks. Yes, pullet. I was raised on a dairy without chickens. The terminology sometimes escapes me. Pullet = heifer vs. Hen = Cow. kind of.
