Both are very handsome cockerels. As other posters had mentioned, they are likely to be cross breeds.

A few years ago someone imported Black Penedesencas into Australia. During quarantine they were found to have some relatively benign disease and were to be disposed of. Do you have any updates on that?

Sorry, no. We have incredibly strict quarantine laws because many common diseases in other parts of the world are unheard of here & could potentially devastate our native wild life.

Thanks. If memory serves, they were doing an online petition to see if they could stop the government from destroying them. Maybe it worked. I don't even remember the disease but it was something as simple as salmonella.
