Hen or Rooster?

Ok... I know this might need to be moved to the games, jokes, and fun forum, or random ramblings... but... is this a hen or rooster? They lay eggs, but crow. And they have the colors of a rooster, and look like one... so which is it? My sister and I were debating on this yesterday, and I’d love your opinion! Not my photos.

Look - if they lay eggs, they’re obviously biologically female! Who cares if they crow, have the patterning of a rooster, etc...okay, I get your point.
But some hens crow....

I think they're both, I saw a few eggs in the house in a nest box and like a chicken shrine. the only animals with different styling for gender is the deer.
Though I certain everytime I was head butted of a cliff by goat it was a nanny...;/
