It depends on the individual bird, and your neighbors, but roosters crowing isn’t any louder than dogs barking, and honestly the hens get way louder when they start screaming their egg song.

The problem is the some roosters crow in the very early am hours, when it is otherwise quiet. So it can be very noticeable.

lol what do they expect 4-h to do? I don't remember them ever running a re-homing service but maybe things have changed.

I think she is 6bweeks not sure. I did find a home for pearl. It was a long day yesterday and many tears.
