Hen pecking at incubated chicks that I put under her

My broody hen was incubating 2 eggs until she accidentally cracked 1 so I put it in the incubator to keep it safe. When it hatched, I went to put it under her. First, she didn’t seem to mind and was more aggressive towards me like she was protecting it. When I went and gave the other hens a snack, she came out and ate too. She then went back in and decided to peck at the chick nonstop so I quickly removed the chick and put it inside. She also almost crushed the chick. Some people told me that I should wait until night and sneak it under her so that she thinks it’s her own kid. I’m worried that if I do that she might accidentally hurt or kill the chick overnight. I am quite lost at what I can do.

Just listen to them and put it under her at night, she most likely won't kill it.
