I'm waiting to hear how much the prednisone is, i will ask him how much the blood test would be

Ok on the link its $24 for out of state tests. Now to find out if my vet will charge on top of that which i hope he doesn't, I've already spent $80 alone in vet visit and meds for her plus all the other stuff i give her so i hope he doesn't charge me a fee on top of that

Now what am I supposed to do if its mareks? She is still in my house and so far none of my other hens seem affected

My vet wants $124 to send out bloodwork for mareks. No freaking way am i paying that.
Tonight Dora got her first prednisone dose

I would think about getting a necropsy on Dora if she doesn't make it. I can understand not getting a blood test for that price. Too bad your vet is charging so much just to send off the blood test. I was floored when the receptionist told me that price, i told her i wanted te as a&m to get the bloodwork as their out of state fee was $24- that i would have paid for...
I dont understand why she progressed backwards in 24 hours- she was doing do good , her neck was getting better and she was eating and drinking on her own, i was still giving the nutri drench and tumeric tea and the albon, still am too...
I'll have to see about the necropsy , Trenton is over 4 hours from me( i am at the tippy top of nj and Trenton is at the bottom lol). Unless i can get my other vet to send her to them for the necropsy( i use 3 vets for my dogs and one of them sees exotics and chickens)
