Hen Walking with Tail Feathers down.

We can't tell if this is an eggbound hen or something else.

Any suggestions? She doesn't appear to have an injury, what else should we look for?

Have you tried putting her on a perch or your arm? If you do that, you can see if her tail moves at all to adjust balance. Another thing is to check her vent.

As anything changed in her environment lately? How long has she been doing this?
