My EE buttercup was stuck between the wall and their feed tub. Literally stuck and couldn't move. I reached in a pulled her out and gently tossed her in with the rest along with another hen who was also stuck, but was moving around. I quickly noticed she was standing funny and kind of limping. I think she has been missing for a day to day and a half. ( I have 30 chickens)I took her out and put her in a cage. She has drank a tiny bit and ate a little scrambled egg. She is standing erect, looks kind of like how a hawk would look. Can't figure out what is wrong or what to do. So I need some help my chicken friends:(

Edited to add: she just laid an egg so she's not eggbound:) And she has eaten more and drank more:)

You've done all you can do for now. If she has a tendon or ligament sprain, caging her is best til she heals. These types of injuries take time to heal. Rest and relaxation is best. All you can do is supportive care; keep the cage clean, provide feed and water. If you suspect she has been weakened due to the period of time she was stuck, you can give her a drop of poultry nutri drench orally twice a day for 5 days. Nutri drench is loaded with minerals and vitamins and should help. Dont give it to her for more than 5 days, it can cause diarhhea.
