For closure. I took Buffy (I had to name her for the vet) to the vet today to be put down.

After all these months of washing her and medicating her daily, there was no change to her vent. The moment we stopped cleaning it, it would start rotting again. The vet said it was rot.

I'm so sorry that all of the hard work couldn't cure her. You put in so much effort and care, you deserve a medal for persistence. So sorry.

I think you did a great job, you hung in there with her and tried your best to keep her going, I looked back at the beginning and I couldn't believe your first post was in January.
I commend you for all your efforts.
