Hi, I’m back again.
One of my 5 year old birds who I’ve never had a problem with, Maggie, (Porcelain Duccle Bantam) has two almost identical scabs on the top of her head. Not on her comb.
I noticed one scab and figured it must’ve just happened because there’s been a recent power struggle in the coop. Then I noticed another, on the other side. The scabs are oddly flat, don’t look like something a beak could do.
There’s no sores, swelling or blisters, just those two scabs. So I don’t want to believe it’s a pox of any kind. I’ve been on high alert since Artemis passed away, and I want to catch everything right as I notice it.
She is otherwise acting very normal. Does anyone know what’s going on?
