Hen with infertile eggs?

I have a HUGE Buff Orpington hen sitting on 2 chicken eggs that may not be fertile. She has been sitting on the nest for 2 days now and is very protective. The question is; are the eggs fertile? I sold my roo a week and a half ago and that was the last time she has been mated. What do you think?

If she has been bred in that time frame eggs should still be fertile.
