Hen with worms, sour crop and vent gleet - help!

she always eats to the extent of having a HUGE crop by the time she goes into the coop...none of my other hens have ever eaten like she does, that is why I am wondering if the muscles were weakened over time just adding to this whole mess

Perhaps they were weakened by that. You might need to ration her food if that’s an issue.
 
I have some real gluttons in my flock that stuff their crops so full it's a wonder they don't fall off the roost. But as long as the crop empties by morning, there is no problem. If this hen of yours does have a crop that's still full in the morning, then yes, there is a problem and a crop bra may be something you want to try.

When I had over 100+ chickens back in the day and I spent alot of time with them - - I never noticed any of them with the large type crop this one has gotten after a day of foraging regardless, now that I have under 20 it seems I have more issues.
Anyway, I love them all, my husband thinks I am nuts but totally gets when I tell him something is not right with a bird because he knows I watch and spend time and just interact. I wish I could fix this for her immediately. I may be able to over time......maybe not - kills me I just dont know how to help her that is why I am here. I feel so alone so that is why I joined
