Hen with worms, sour crop and vent gleet - help!

I have some real gluttons in my flock that stuff their crops so full it's a wonder they don't fall off the roost. But as long as the crop empties by morning, there is no problem. If this hen of yours does have a crop that's still full in the morning, then yes, there is a problem and a crop bra may be something you want to try.
So I went to check on her this morning....this is 3 days into trying to treat for sour crop and her crop is still BIG squishy and gurgles. Kiki said to continue to feed and give water but I dont know what to do, this girl might explode. It appears that some food stuff that I managed to get into her is passing as there was SOME poo in pen she is in but I dunno, I am so confused. Years ago when I had one with sour crop it cleared rather quickly, this is a whole new ballgame for me. I really want to help her, she wants to drink, food she will take if I syringe it in, Kiki said maybe to tube feed but with the crop so big I dont know what to do. Your thougths?? Tube, syringe, feed or not - liquids or not? if feed what to feed? cannot massage crop as it seems as thought stuff wants to come out

This is the meet and greet forum. If you need to discuss anything serious about your flock's health, you need to start a thread on this forum. https://www.backyardchickens.com/forums/emergencies-diseases-injuries-and-cures.10/

Here's some reading in the meantime that might answer a lot of your questions about crop issues and what you might be able to do about them. https://www.backyardchickens.com/ar...w-to-know-which-one-youre-dealing-with.73607/
