Hen won’t open eyes

Good to hear about the pinkeye that explains a lot. I so hope she gets better with antibiotics please keep us updated on this cutie.

I don’t have anything to add. I had a hen attacked by a hawk with an obvious head wound. I isolated her, treated her as best I could with extra fluids and favorite foods, kept her wound clean. She did survive, but she acted ”off” for several days. She rejoined the flock and is now healthy I hope your little one does the same soon.

The test results got back and she doesn’t have mycoplasma. The vet’s next best guess is Marek’s but she doesn’t really have any symptoms and as far as I know our flock doesn’t have Marek’s. Might go to another to get a second opinion
